India has become the country with highest incidence rate of Diabetes in the world. The number of people suffering from Diabetes in the year 2010 is 52 millions. According to India Daily, it is estimated that approximately 30 percent people in India may get Diabetes by the year 2050. Diabetes is a disease marked by high levels of blood sugar, once indentified, it remains throughout the life. The life with Diabetes in India, as in any other country, requires healthy lifestyle changes to help people prevent severe complications and live healthily.

Indians like rice, vegetables and condiments much more than European people. Due to religious reasons, some don’t eat beef while others forbid mutton. Each 100g banana contains carbohydrate 20g, protein 1.2g, fat 0.6g, and various kinds of vitamins and micro elements. Mangos is beneficial for preventing constipation, high blood pressure and arterial sclerosis in the patients, so it is a good food to eat for Diabetics in India. Sugarcanes, however, contain rich glucose and should be restricted or avoided. When Diabetes is present, the patients will need to do anything that helps the management of their Diabetes.
