Diabetics have more urination and this has been regarded as one of the dominant symptoms of Diabetes. However, why diabetics visit toilet more common?

Diabetes, also can be called Diabetes Mellitus, is a group of metabolic disease in which a person has high blood sugar. In cases of Diabetes, high blood sugar results from insufficiency of insulin or shortage of insulin which is secreted by pancreas islet B cells. Insulin is responsible for regulating blood sugar level and when the generation of it decreases, blood sugar level increases.

Our blood sugar level is normally kept in a stable range and once an individual ingest too much sugar, excessive blood glucoses are filtered and discharged by our kidney. Blood glucose is excreted together with urine, so when blood sugar is high, diabetics have to urinate more to discharge blood sugar.

Mostly, aside from frequent urination, diabetics may found they drink more, eat more, but become more and more thin. Why is this?

As a matter of fact, frequent urination, extreme thirst, hunger and losing weight is related with each other. Similar with our human being, our cells also need nutrition and fluids to maintain healthy. As diabetics lose lots of fluids through urine, their body send sign of thirst to their brain, as a result, they feel thirsty. Usually, the more urination, the more thirst they have. We know blood sugar offer us energy to do mental activity and physical activity. When our body fails to utilize these blood sugars, we feel hungry and become thin easily. Therefore, all the Diabetes symptoms like more urination, extreme thirst, frequent hunger and losing weight are caused by the failed consumption of blood sugar. In this light we can know clearly if we want to remit Diabetes symptoms, we must help our body to make use of blood sugar.

Diabetes causes fatal complications like Diabetic Nephropathy, Diabetic eye problem, Diabetic food and Diabetic Neuropathy and these complications are more likely occur among diabetics who have a poor control about their illness conditions. Therefore, getting Diabetes and its symptoms controlled effectively is very important for diabetics to live a longer life span.
