1. Reduce 5% body weight. Reducing about 5% body weight can reduce 70% the risk of having diabetes.

8. German scientists have found that cinnamon can help lower blood sugar. Cinnamon can be put into coffee or honey.

9. Have 3 deep breaths before doing stressful things. Long term pressure and stress will cause blood sugar to increase and deep breath can help reduce pressure.

10. Have 6-8 hours of sleep. Those having less than 6 hours of sleep have twice more chance to get diabetes and those having more than 8 hours of sleep have 3 times more chance.

11. Avoid living alone. Those living along have 2.5 times more chance to get diabetes. Experts suggest people to have healthy life styles even when we live by ourselves.

12. Have regular check of blood sugar after 45 years old. Experts recommend that obesity people and those that have family history of diabetes and illness history of high cholesterol and high blood pressure should pay more attention to monitor their blood sugar.
