Subsequent Visit of One Kidney Disease Patient from India

My name is Leo and Chinese name is Liu, Xiaofeng. I have been practicing medical nursing cares for years and I love this profession very much.

Last month, I received a call from an old friend from India. He is one patient that I once took care of. He told me he is coming to China soon to have subsequent visit and further consultation.

He comes to China by plane via the south of China where the weather is still very warm. But here in our city, it is the coldest month in the year. In order to prevent the patient and his wife from catching cold, I took quilted jackets to meet them in the airport.

Before going to the airport, I carefully decorated their room---placing potted plant and preparing fresh vegetables, fruits and milk for them, etc. To give them a surprise, I bought a bunch of beautiful flowers on the way to the airport.

They were very glad and excited to see me when they got off the plane and gave me big hugs. When I gave the flower to his wife, they were very happy and expressed their gratitude and thanks to me on the way back to the hospital. I am so glad they still remember my appearance and regard me as their old friend.

We all forget the cold even though the temperature is very low outside.
