Harish got his kidney cyst diagnosed in August, 2011. Blood pressure keeps on rising and he experiences severe flank pains. It was told by doctors that if this continues to get worse, he may have to do a surgery to control the cyst. Chinese medicine treatment was what he was very interested in. The Chinese Medicine treatment journey, as is mentioned by himself, was very worthy of it, since not only the cyst is controlled, but also he has come into contact with many more Chinese myths, especially the foot bath and Tai Chi therapies.
The herbal medicine treatment for his kidney cyst was not Harish expected to be. It is not orally taken medicines, instead, is a kind of externally applied method. The warmth feeling around the kidney areas during the treatment makes Harish very comfortable. Herbal treatment was indeed different from western treatment and it was surprising that the cysts are reducing in size and it was less and less painful. As the illness condition was getting better, he even began to learn some Tai Chi from his doctor. He found it fun and began to love it. The video wherein he learns Tai Chi from his “teacher” will be taken home.
He also likes the foot bath, or herbal bath. Certain herbs are soaked into water and he can enjoy the foot bath for some 20 minutes. The foot bath makes him overall relieved; as is mentioned by the doctors, foot bath helps to expand blood vessels, accelerate blood circulation and promote health status. The cultural attract is also great. Harish for the first time in his life made dumplings which he found indeed delicious. All the previous memory will be remembered.
This day Herish is going to leave the hospital. Now his cysts have been controlled well and overall condition is improving. What Harish has experienced is more like a Chinese Medicine treatment journey, which he found valuable and unforgettable.
