1. High blood pressure accelerates Nephritis

In Nephritis, high blood pressure occurs because of damaged renal tissues and it usually occurs in the following two conditions:

l Because of kidney damages, kidney function decreases. Kidneys are responsible for discharging excessive water and sodium and once they are damaged, water and sodium build up in the blood, as a result of which, blood volume increases and blood pressure increases.

l Once kidneys are damaged, secretion of renion increases, which can cause the increase of type II angiotensin. Type II angiotensin can shrink blood vessels and when there are too much type II angiotensin, pressure inside the blood increases.
