Nephritis high blood pressureHigh blood pressure is one of the symptoms of Nephritis and although it occurs because of kidney damages in Nephritis, it should not be ignored as it plays an important role for Nephritis patient’s life. Well then, what is the harm of high blood pressure in Nephritis?

1. High blood pressure accelerates Nephritis

In Nephritis, high blood pressure occurs because of damaged renal tissues and it usually occurs in the following two conditions:

l Because of kidney damages, kidney function decreases. Kidneys are responsible for discharging excessive water and sodium and once they are damaged, water and sodium build up in the blood, as a result of which, blood volume increases and blood pressure increases.

l Once kidneys are damaged, secretion of renion increases, which can cause the increase of type II angiotensin. Type II angiotensin can shrink blood vessels and when there are too much type II angiotensin, pressure inside the blood increases.

Although high blood is the symptom of Nephritis, it in turn accelerates Nephritis.

2. High blood pressure worsen kidney condition

Actually, high blood pressure caused by Nephritis is called renal hypertension. High blood pressure can occur as the clinical manifestation of Nephritis, and also it can cause kidney problem directly.

Our kidney helps to regulate blood pressure and once renal hypertension occurs, more and more renal blood vessels will be damaged. When more and more renal tissues are damaged, kidney conditions become more serious. Besides, for people with both kidney problem and high blood pressure, it is important to found out whether their elevated blood pressure occurs because of kidney problem, or kidney problem is caused by their high blood pressure.

Since high blood pressure means so much for people with Nephritis, preventing or controlling high blood pressure effectively is very important.
