Both bladder infection and kidney stone are benign and they seldom affect the patient’s kidney functions with timely and proper treatment. Bladder infection is the inflammation of the bladder caused by bacteria and it is especially common among female. Bladder infection can cause a series of discomforts and symptoms such as burning sense in urination, urinary urgency, frequent urination, blood in urine or even blood clots in urine, fatigue, loss of appetite, abdominal pains, etc.
Since the urine is produced in the kidneys and then released into the bladder to discharge out of the body. Bacteria in the bladder can enter into the kidneys and cause kidney infections. As for kidney stone, it is crystal formation in the kidneys. There are different types of kidney stones according to the different composition. Small kidney stone can pass with the urine in the urinary tract and cause sharp pains or even blood in urine. Large stones can cause urinary tract obstruction and block normal urine flow. In some severe condition, kidney stone can even lead to renal failure, therefore early treatment should be sought to prevent further renal damages.
For small kidney stone, more fluid intake and some mild exercises can help the body to discharge the stones. For large kidney stones, some herbal medicines can help dissolve the stone to smaller size and then it is easy to pass in urine. Surgery can also be a treatment option if patients want to receive quick relief, only that surgery has certain risk.
