Lupus Nephritis can be diagnosed when there is inflammation in the kidney caused by SLE (Systemic Lupus Erythematosus), an autoimmune disease. However, many SLE patients have no awareness about they have been affected by kidney problem unless their kidneys are damaged seriously. Actually, Lupus Nephritis symptoms are very helpful in diagnosing kidney problem related with SLE. If an individual with SLE found he has some of or all of the following symptoms, unfortunately, he is very likely to have developed Lupus Nephritis.
1. Frothy urine: It is always regarded as an dominant index indicating kidney damages, especially glomerular damages. Frothy urine is a symbol for presentation of protein in urine and almost all the SLE patients report to have protein in urine once their kidneys are affected.
2. Elevated blood pressure: Lupus Nephritis always find they have sudden increase of blood pressure, which actually is caused by kidney damages. Therefore, SLE patients can measure their blood pressure regularly so as to have a timely diagnosis about Lupus Nephritis.

In Lupus Nephritis cases, due to differences and severity of kidney damages, patients may have different symptoms, but once these symptoms occur, kidney damages are very likely to have been caused already. At that moment, aside from having a accurate diagnosis, repairing kidney damages is of primary importance.
