Q:

I have seen the doctor for my kidney cyst and the test said my cyst remained as 0.7mm. It's the same as six months ago , so I guess I don't have to be concern am I right?

A:

A kidney cyst is a closed sac that develops on the kidney. What’s worrying is that the cyst can get enlarged and damage the kidneys. Your type of kidney cyst is not PKD, right? Polycystic Kidney Cyst (PKD) is a genetic kidney disorder which is characterized by numerous cysts in the kidneys. If you have a 7mm kidney cyst, it will not bring much harm to you in a short time. You can make some efforts in daily care, which will help you slow down the growth of cyst, such as :

1. Have less salt food (including preserved food, pickles, tinned meat), spicy food (including hot pepper, liquor, shrimp, crab, etc.) contaminated food (perishable food, leftovers, etc.) broiled dishes. Limit high protein food from animal and oily food, etc.

2. Have good rest. Avoid drastic physical strength, and trauma on abdomen.

3. Take nutritional food.

4. Have high-quality protein food, supply high fibre, rich vitamin food, and, eat low fat and sugar food.

5. Do some mild exercises, but not strenuous exercises.

6. Drop smoking or drinking alcohol.

And in the daily life, in order to avoid the rupture of the cysts, the abdominal pressure should not be too much. When you bend down, be careful. Don't lift too heavy objects, avoid twist your waist violently, have a loose belt, and try not to have constipation.

Try not to drink coffee, coca cola. And try to be careful not to get urinary infection.

Just some tips for you, hope it can be helpful. Please take care not to overstrain yourself, and insist on regularly testing the kidney condition.
