Pain

Pain is the most common symptom of renal cyst, weather it is ruptured or not. If the cysts do not rupture, the pain can be dull and bearable and in case of cyst rupture, the pain can become sharp and unbearable. The pain can be located in the back, abdomen, flank or hip.

Sepsis

If not treated properly and timely, cyst rupture can cause more severe complication such as sepsis. Sepsis can prevent adequate blood supply to organs and cause organ failure. Other symptoms of sepsis include fever, low blood pressure, low pulse rate, decreased urine volume, etc.
