Is a 4cm Parapelvic cyst dangerous? Usually a Parapelvic renal cyst is identified during excretory urography as a mass causing extrinsic compression on the renal pelvic. A 4cm Parapelvic cyst is a health concern, not only in that it can cause such complaints as flank pains and high blood pressure, but also that it can occupy healthy tissues of kidneys to cause kidney deterioration.

Problems a 4 cm a Parapelvic Cyst can cause

Parapelvic cysts of the kidneys are often located adjacent to the renal pelvis or the renal sinus. The cyst is filled with fluid and can get enlarged gradually over time. Control your intake of proteins to 0.6-0.8g/kg.d. Avoid salted foods, processed foods, pepper and seafoods. Surgical treatment. A common method is to pump cystic liquid by inserting a needle. After the surgery, the cyst is controlled so that patients can have symptoms remitted. However, the result maybe not satisfactory enough because the cyst can grow larger later and deterioration of the kidney condition can not be controlled effectively.
