What Are the Causes of Renal Cysts on Kidneys

Renal cysts are the general term for all cystic masses in the kidneys. It can be subdivided into three catogeries---simple kidney cyst, complex kidney cyst and acquired kidney cyst.

As for the exact causes of kidey cysts, it is not completely known and no consensus has been achieved. Some think that it is memely due to aging because kideny cysts usually affect the elder and the older the higher incidence of kidney cysts. While some think that it has the same cause with that of polycystic kidney disease, only they vary in degree.

Though the exact cause of kidney stone is not clear at present, it is sure that some factors are the high risk elements for developping renal cysts on kidneys, therefore it is necessary to know these factors and try to aviod contacts with them so as to lower the possibility.

Congenital dysplasia. Congenital dysplasia can cause many diseases and disorders in the body. It might be caused by radiation, environmental pollutions or intake of some medicines, therefore gravida should pay more attention to stay away from possible dangers in their daily life during pregnancy to ensure the safety and healthy of themselves and the babies.

Various infections and viruses. It is common that we will contact with virous viruses and infection in our daily life and healthy people can resist them protect the body from catching diseases. However in case of lowered immunity or the virues and infections are too strong, human body can not resist these attacks and will fall ill. What is more, these infections and viruses will cause disorders and imbalances in the body and create a favorible internal enviroment for the cysts to grow.

Improper diets such as heavy drinking, heavy smoking, fast foods and polluted foods are all risk factors for forming kidney cysts.

Besides, there is one special kind of kidney cysts which are acquired after long term dialysis and the cysts are usually small in size and there are multiple cysts in each kidneys.
