Q:

I have PKD and today I feel that my arms and legs are numb. I feel a burning feeling in my left kidney. I checked my pressure and it is 122/80,I feel very weak and sometimes I feel dizzy. I need some help, please!

A:

From what you have described above, I have the following illness analysis and hope it can help you! High blood pressure is common symptom of PKD and there are 50% patients will have blood pressure higher than 140/90 even when their kidney functions are still normal and nearly all patients will develop high blood pressure when PKD progresses into end stage renal disease. Your blood pressure is 122/80 which is normal and that is very good for stabilizing your current illness condition.

As for your weakness, numbness and dizziness, that are not typical symptoms of early stage PKD and they might indicate other coexist diseases or due to anemia, poor appetite, etc.

Promoting systemic blood circulation can alleviate fatigue, dizziness and numbness. Medicated bath, foot bath and Micro-Chinese medicines are natural and comfortable therapy for clearing meridians, eliminating blood and qi stasis and promoting blood circulation. What is more, Micro-Chinese medicines can help gradually shrink the multiples cysts in the kidneys so as to prevent further renal damages.
