Q:

Tell me what will happen if I stop taking my medicines? I am 23, suffering from chronical kidney disease for the past 18 years, creatinine is 2.3 and my ureter got paralysed.

A:

From your description of your illness conditions, you have had a long history of illness with chronic kidney disease. At present your creatinine is 2.3 which is high for a 23 year-old man. The high creatinine level means that at least more than 50% of your kidney functions have been impaired, therefore CKD patients will have to take some drugs and medicines to control their underlying illness conditions.

These medicines are necessary to ease and control your symptoms and pains and make your feel more comfortable. Therefore if you stop taking these medicines, your symptoms will become serious or even out of control. What is worse, these symptoms will in turn speed up your illness progression and worsen your kidney functions. Creatinine level will become even higher and more kidney functions will be lost.

I can understand your wish to get rid of these medicines because they can not prevent further deterioration of kidney functions since they only aim at easing symptoms without repairing damaged renal tissues or recovering renal functions.

The only way to get rid of your medicines is to recover and improve your kidney functions. Micro-Chinese Medicine Osmotherapy is a new treatment that has been proved to be effective for treating chronical kidney disease. It is effective and the curative effects can last for long time because it can not only help deal with the symptoms but also act on the underlying causes of these symptoms. Active ingredients in Chinese medicines can help promote blood circulation, reduce inflammation and infections in the kidneys and remove extracellular matrix from the glomerular areas so as to help repair damaged renal tissues and recover normal renal structure and renal functions. But I have to say this treatment requires long time and patients should have more patience and cooperate with the doctor.

Another problem for you is the paralysed ureter which will affect your urination and cause burdens to the already impaired kidneys, therefore early diagnosis should be done to find out what is the cause and receive early and effective treatment.
