hypertension, frequent urination hypertensive NephropathyIf you are a patient of Hypertension and recently found you have frequent urination, I am afraid you have developed kidney problem. Kidney problem caused by Hypertension is clinically called Hypertensive Nephropathy and frequent urination always occurs as its early symptom.

How does Hypertensive Kidney Problem cause frequent urination?

Our kidney is composed of different renal tissues. Among these tissues, glomerulus and renal tubule play a very important role in the forming of urine. In normal cases, glomerulus serves as filter during which excessive fluids, wastes and a small group of nutrition are allowed to go through. After that, wastes and nutrition flow through renal tubule and during this process, nutrition and some fluid are reabsorbed. The rest fluid and wastes discharge from our body, we call it urine.

Renal tubule is a kind of blood vessel. It is widely known that Hypertension is marked by high blood pressure which can be described as high impact to vascular wall. Temporary high blood pressure causes no damages to blood vessels, however, if this condition lasts for a long time, vascular wall will be damaged seriously. When renal tubule is damaged, renal tubule lose its reabsorption function, as a result of which, fluids can not be reabsorbed fully and effectively. When much more fluid is discharged from our body, frequent urination occurs.

How to deal with frequent urination caused by Hypertensive Nephropathy?

To remit frequent urination symptom, some patients reduce fluid intake and hope they can urinate less. Actually, this is not a real solution at all. In cases of hypertensive kidney problem, frequent urination is just one of the symptoms of Hypertensive Nephropathy and occurs because of impaired renal tubular function. Therefore, the best solution is to repair renal tubule and recover its function.

Actually, not only frequent urination, other symptoms caused by long-term hypertension also need to be treated from the basis. Only when we remove the causes of them, can these symptoms be remitted fundamentally.
