How To Stop Kidney Dialysis

Kidney dialysis will not be necessary until more than 85%-90% kidney functions are lost. The basic functions of dialysis is to purify the blood and remove toxic wastes outside so as to replace parts of kidney functions and sustain the patients’ life.

Usually it is not easy to get rid of dialysis once it is started if no other effective treatment is received. Kidney transplant

Renal failure patients can stop dialysis after kidney transplant because the transplanted new kidney can restore the patient’s kidney functions, so they need no more to have dialysis.

However there is a certain life span for the transplanted kidney due to the risks of organ-rejection and various infections.
