Have more fresh vegetables that are high in vitamins and fibers and this is conducive for diabetes patients. Avoid eating too much honey.
2. Have regular sex and prevent catching colds and infections. Do not eat too much antibiotics. Some virus infections and over intake of antibiotics can induce diabetes.
3. Have regular physical exercises and avoid staying up. This can help protect the immune system. The simplest and most suitable for the elder is walking. Other mild activities include tai chi, qi gong, etc. During the exercises, ask for someone¡¯s company in case of sudden low blood sugar.
